KESKUS Project Update (#122) – Toronto’s Annex neighbourhood awaits KESKUS

The Annex Residents’ Association (ARA) actively and closely tracks all development in Toronto’s Annex area and this includes the KESKUS site at 9 Madison Avenue.

The ARA has been following the KESKUS International Estonian Centre project since inception: it spearheaded community meetings and included the ward’s City of Toronto Councillor (first Councillor Joe Cressy and now Councillor Mike Layton), to fully understand the project and its impact on the neighbourhood.

The ARA has declared its unconditional support for KESKUS.

It is heartwarming indeed to know that the Annexonians will become honorary Estonians and Estonians, their friends and families will become honorary Annexonians! Moreover, that KESKUS and the amenities it will bring to this very special part of Toronto’s downtown, are awaited and welcomed.
