Statement from St. Peter’s Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church of Toronto

“St. Peter’s Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church of Toronto held a Special Congregational meeting on November 12 at which a vote was held concerning making application for permission to close the columbarium. Participation at this meeting was the highest in the last 10 years. A business plan which had been written by the group “Friends of St. Peter’s” was presented and discussed. Following this the vote was carried out, the result of which was 68.2% of the votes in favour of making the application. Thus, the resolution to make application for permission to close the columbarium has been accepted.”
