When your kids need to expend a bit of energy, try out this exciting game of tag brought to you by Kai Randrüüt and Ühendus Sport Kõigile.
It's a pretty simple game that you can put together with nothing more than an open, uncluttered space, a small object like a ball, and a group of players. Almost like in a basketball game, one player throws the small object up in the air and whoever catches it has to tag everyone else playing. When the other plays are tagged, they have to put their arms up in a banana shape and stand still.
Players who haven't been tagged can free these “bananas” and extend the length of the game. If the player who caught the object tags everyone, they win. As the “100 rahvamängu lastele” site states, one alternative for the game is to make it not possible to un-tag or free bananas.
Happy playing!
