Courtesy of Estonian YouTuber Tõnu Peit, here's a scrumptious and simple idea for dinner tonight or for you to bring to work for lunch tomorrow, with a bit of flair from the south of France.
You've probably seen Provençal-style tarts like this one in bakeries and cafés. It seems delicate and perhaps challenging to make, but this baked tart is actually not so complicated to make.
Before you watch Tõnu's recipe video below (in Estonian), collect the following ingredients:
-puff pastry, which will be folded and creased at the edges
-“dipikaste aiaürtidega” (a cream with garden herbs), mixed with a teaspoon of dijon mustard
-a generous sprinkling of garlic powder
-grated cheese (such as parmesan)
-sliced tomato
-salt, sugar, black pepper
-Provençal herb blend
-olive oil
