Canada-Europe Connect Campaign Launches in Vancouver

As Canada continues to broaden its global trade relationships, one of the most strategic opportunities lies in strengthening ties with the European Union. Estonia—one of the world’s most digitally advanced societies—offers a compelling gateway to the EU’s 450 million consumers.

On October 21st, Honorary Consul Evaleen Jaager Roy and I (Vice-Consul) hosted the inaugural Canada-Europe Connect campaign event in Vancouver. The half-day gathering spotlighted successful companies thriving within Estonia’s business-friendly ecosystem. More than forty invited guests and speakers attended, including representatives from Estonian firms Nortal, Glia, and Bolt; consuls from several European nations; officials from British Columbia’s trade and investment organizations; and regional business leaders.
