On Sunday February 22nd, Estonians in Hamilton gathered together at The Cotton Factory to celebrate 108 years of Estonian independence. The programme of events, led by Hamilton Estonian Society and Hamilton Estonian School, featured participation from many local young Estonians who performed music and Estonian folk dances. In addition, attendees enjoyed Estonian food catered by local chef Mihkel Heap, owner of The Baltic Kitchen.
