The Central and Eastern European Council in Canada has planned a social media campaign, whereby individuals print out the Black Ribbon Day/Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact #NeverForget sign image (linked below), take a selfie with the sign, and post it to social media channels on Wednesday August 23rd.

1) Download the Black Ribbon Day #neverforget sign here.
2) Print out the sign.
3) Take a selfie with the sign.
4) Post the photo to social media with the hashtag #neverforget.
Marcus Kolga, President of the Central and Eastern European Council in Canada, adds that “Next year, for the 85th anniversary, part of the Black Ribbon Day commemoration will be held at the newly constructed Memorial to the Victims of Communism in Ottawa along with a conference about the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact and its legacy today.”
