Caption Estonians win medals at geo Olympics

At the International Geographic Olympics in Quebec this July Estonian students won three medals. The competition included much more than just identifying places. The students had to be familiar with topics such as populations, tourism, rivers, the ebola epidemic, the mapping of cultural sites, amongst other. Partcipating were students Andreas Must, Tiit Vaino, Markus Vaher, Kaspar Klettenberg. Competing were 165 students from 43 countries.They were accompanied by instructors Taavi Pae and Laura Altin. Laval University’s buildings are connected by underground tunnels, the walls of which are covered by appropriate graffiti. The Estonians students pose by one with a geographic theme.
