8. – 14. July 2018 in Olustvere, Viljandi county
The aim of this camp is to introduce Estonian handicraft by giving an overview of traditional handicraft techniques from Estonia and to learn the modern usage of those techniques.
By the end of the camp the participant knows the characteristics of Estonian traditional handicraft and knows how to use some techniques. All instructors and teachers are fully qualified masters of their skill. Many have been teaching for years. For further info about them, please see the workshop pages. The working language of the camp is English. Most workshops will be delivered in English or will be translated from Estonian to English. The evenings will be spent on site with activities. There are four different workshops each participant can attend during the camp, one day is scheduled for a field trip. The camp takes place in the area and buildings of Olustvere manor and in the rooms of Olustvere Schools of Service and Rural Economics. Accommodation is provided in the school dormitory.
The registration deadline is 15th of May.
