Eller Girls’ Choir concert in Vancouver

We cordially invite you to please join us for their concert titled “Let Me Be” on Monday, July 15th, 7.30pm at Kerrisdale Presbyterian Church in Vancouver. It will be a magical evening of harmonies and crystal clear voices that the Eller Girls' Choir are known for. 

“Let Me Be”/“Las ma olen” is titled after the song composed by Karin Tuul for the Eller Girls’ Choir, and the name of their newest album featuring pieces by Estonian and Baltic composers Arvo Pärt, Veljo Tormis, Ēriks Ešenvalds, Rasmus Puur, Tõnu Körvits and more. CD’s and collectors’ vinyl will be on sale at the concert.

About: The Eller Girls' Choir was founded in 2010. The singers are young women aged 17-24 and they have delivered dozens of concerts and taken part in international competitions and festivals throughout Europe, Australia, and North America. Since 2013, the choir has won 1st prizes in Spain, Ireland, Estonia amongst a few – and were proclaimed Choir of the Year in 2021. Their repertoire consists mostly of contemporary Estonian and international choral works and Estonian folk music. The founder and chief conductor of the choir is Külli Lokko. 

Külli Lokko is the head conductor of Eller Girls' Choir and also E Stuudio Chamber Choir. She, too, has been awarded several awards, including Conductor of the Year in 2015, 2016, and 2018 from Canta al Mar in Italy, Tours International Choir Competition in France, and the Estonian Choral Association.
