Estonian Arts Centre (EAC) is grateful for a significant investment by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) to support EAC's construction of KESKUS International Estonian Centre.
FedDev Ontario’s investment demonstrates the government's commitment to fostering innovation and economic growth, as well as supporting the development of vibrant community spaces. With a generous contribution of $750,000, through the Canada Community Revitalization Fund (CCRF), EAC is transforming the KESKUS site from an urban parking lot into a dynamic, environmentally sustainable public space.
With the underground work of the courtyard scheduled for completion by August 31, 2023, this visionary project aims to create an inviting and environmentally conscious outdoor space that will serve as a cultural hub, fostering connectivity and community engagement. Located at 9 Madison Avenue in downtown Toronto, KESKUS will feature a reinvented courtyard accessible to all, promoting inclusivity and celebrating Estonian innovation, arts and heritage.
