Estonian-Canadian named to Toronto Life’s annual Top 50 Most Influential list

Activist and former president of the Estonian Central Council in Canada, Marcus Kolga, was named one the top 50 most influential Torontonians at an event hosted by Toronto Life Magazine in downtown Toronto on November 16, 2023.

Each year, Toronto Life magazine publishes its prestigious Top 50 most influential list, recognizing the individuals who have made the most significant impact on shaping the city’s vibrant and dynamic landscape. The list encompasses a diverse range of individuals, from business leaders and entrepreneurs to artists, activists, and community leaders. These influential figures have played pivotal roles in shaping Toronto’s cultural, economic, and social spheres, leaving an indelible mark on the city’s identity and celebrates “Torontonians whose bravery, smarts and clout are changing the world as we know it.”

In the past, the list has included leaders in the fields of cultural, sport, political and civil society leaders, including Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, rap artist Drake, baseball superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr and singer The Weeknd.
