This award winning choir, lead by Chief Conductor Hirvo Surva (pronunciation: Hear-voh Suhr-vah) has performed in many parts of the world, most recently winning 1st place in the “Music and Sea Choral Festival” in Paralia (Greece). Formed in 2008, this choral ensemble comprises of approximately 70 singers.
This is a unique opportunity to hear one of Europe’s top choral ensembles in the Georgian Bay Triangle Area.
Hirvo Surva is a well-known choral conductor in Europe, heading the choral conducting department at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. He also is the conductor of the Estonian National Opera Boys’ Choir and was the artistic director for the Estonian National Song Festival (taking place in Tallinn, Estonia every five years).
This is a unique opportunity to hear one of Europe’s top choral ensembles in the Georgian Bay Triangle Area.
