PHOTOS – Canada Day 150 – Port Credit

Port Credit has had a long tradition of Canada Day parades and fireworks.
The entire day is called "Paint the Town Red".

In recent years, the parade has been named in honour of Mississauga's long-serving former mayor, Hazel McCallion, who still walks the parade route.

As one might imagine, with weather that cooperated, the audience was large and enthusiastic.
The evening fireworks photos are framed by the Port Credit lighthouse, the town's most recognized landmark.
