Celebrating Canada Day, The ESTO Way

Kanada House: July 1st, Telliskivi, Tallinn at Kärbes Bar

 

Toronto - Canadians who are travelling to Tallinn to participate in ESTO 2019 and the National Song and Dance Festival, are all invited to join a Canada Day bash at Kärbes Bar in the Telliskivi neighbourhood of Tallinn at what has been dubbed “Kanada House” for the event.

 

The event will feature Canadian music, food and most importantly, hundreds of fun loving Canadians and Estonian-Canadians.

 

The event is being organized in cooperation with ESTO2019, The Estonian Central Council in Canada, The joint Canadian-Estonian Choirs and other Canadian-Estonian organizations.

 

“Kanada House at ESTO will be a fun and informal celebration of our Estonian heritage and identity in Canada,” said event co-organizer, and ESTO 2000 organizing alumnus, Avo Kittask.

 

“The evening will feature Canadian music and culture along with some surprise special guests,” added co-organizer, Jaan Kittask.

 

“As Canadian-Estonians, we have a lot to celebrate, in our achievements and the joy of having a dual, Estonian and Canadian identity” said co-organizer, Reet Lindau. “This is a perfect opportunity to give ourselves, as Estonan-Canadians, a well deserved pat on the back and have a little fun with our global Estonian friends” added co-organizer Piret Noorhani.
