Quotes:
“It is good to come to Montreal, a leading hub for artificial intelligence, to discuss how new technologies are transforming our society. G7 countries should play a key role to encourage the use artificial intelligence for good, to improve our daily lives, from treating chronic diseases to reducing fatality rates in traffic accidents. This can only succeed with trust: we need to reaffirm the importance of privacy, transparency and accountability,” said Vice-President Ansip.
“EU actions are complemented and reinforced by the work of the G7. Together we are stronger to deal both with opportunities and challenges of the future of work. This is the key to succeed in making our workplaces innovative, competitive but also a safe setting for everyone,” said Commissioner Thyssen.
