On Wednesday November 29th, historian Dr. Maarja Merivoo-Parro spoke at VEMU Estonian Museum Canada, to commemorate 104 years of the University of Tartu as Estonia's native language university.
Just as beauty is considered to be “in the eye of the beholder”, she has conveyed that “Eesti on vaataja silmades” (“Estonia is in the eye of the beholder”). To this end, she has started to create a four-part documentary film series, which was described during the lecture.
