This competition has become truly international as demonstrated during the final day by the participation of athletes from as far away as Estonia, Scotland, Israel, Japan and New Zealand, in addition to many from the United States and Canada. So the flags adorning the performance stage are not merely decorative but represent all nations that have been involved during the four days of competition. The Koop Cup offers a display of athletic prowess combined with beauty, grace and fashion. The founder of the Koop Cup, Evelyn Koop, was thoroughly delighted and had an opportunity to thank the competitors, the judges and the volunteers who have made the Koop Cup a highlight of the Rhythmic Gymnastic season in Canada.
Two Estonian gymnasts were featured on the final day of competition at the Koop Cup 2024 at the Pan Am Centre in Markham.
Annabel Summer Weir is from Tallinn but lives in Scotland and is a member of the Scottish national squad. She is seen with the Scottish flag on her costume.
Vanessa Vulf, representing Estonia, won the overall competition in her class. Evelyn Koop was greeted by Markham mayor Frank Scarpitti who presented Evelyn with a Certificate of Appreciation.
The national anthem was performed by Ukrainian singer Antonina Laskarzhevsaka. The event was concluded with a performance by the Kalev Elite group.
