Speaker of the Riigikogu Lauri Hussar was in Hamilton on January 28th, visiting the monument honouring Estonian refugees at the Woodland Cemetery in Burlington to place a commemorative wreath on behalf of the Riigikogu.
Pictured on the group photo is Hussar along with members of the First Estonian Evangelical Lutheran congregation of Hamilton and other participants. The Hamilton Estonian School was visited afterwards at the Cotton Factory, where Hussar presented gifts to school principal Lia Hess.
