PHOTOS – Leo leads the Leafs!

On November 28, Estonian-born Leo Komarov (47) scored his 8th goal, tying him for top spot among Toronto Maple Leafs this season.

Leo played a spirited game against the Washington Capitals and even though the Leafs ultimately lost, 4-2, Leo was selected as the third star of the game.

Fans enthusiastically cheered every shift he played and eagerly awaited his hard-hitting but fair style of play. On this evening, he was the only Leaf who consistently got cheers from the fans at the Air Canada Centre.

In fact, the boisterous crowd actually blocked your photographer's view of his goal. Arch-rival Alex Ovechkin (8) did not play a dominant role in the game. Fans will recall that Oveckin injured Komarov just a year ago, but the two had only a few shifts on the ice at the same time and had no serious altercations this year. At the post-game press conference, Leafs coach Mike Babcock praised the aggressive play of the Leafs, who out-shot the Capitals, but admitted that in today's NHL game, allowing four goals in a game seldom resulted in a victory.
