Lt. General Michael Hood, head of the RCAF speaks to the National Ethnic Press and Media Council of Canada

At a visit to the NEPMCC at the Toronto City Hall, General Hood spoke to and answered questions of interest to members of the association.

Of course, questions that were of interest to Estonians were ones involving the presence of the air force in Europe defending the Baltics against Russia.

Estonian Life asked the General what the position was with the RCAF in the European environment he answered: "We were in Lithuania for NATO, Romania and in the Syrian conflict, we will not be going back to the Baltics in the next eighteen months because the arrangements have been made but we could go back after that. We are still members of NATO."

Another member asked what the comparison was between the Russian and Western air forces, General Hood answered, “When we were bombing in Syria we had ninety five percent accuracy, the Russians on the other hand had five percent accuracy. We have nothing to worry about.”

There were other questions and answers and an overview.
