Maria Saras-Voutsinas is running for School Board Trustee in what used to be Broadview-Greenwood

Maria Saras-Voutsinas is running for the position of school board trustee in what used to be Broadview-Greenwood riding (where Peter Worthington ran). The riding runs south from O'Connor to the lake Ontario west encompassing Estonian House and east to Greenwood.

Maria, who is middle of the road Liberal is wading into heavy left wing territory where "Saint" Jack Layton left his imprint. "The NDP are fighting, running another NDP candidate against the incumbent, so I might be able to come through the middle and win," says Maria.

Maria is the mother of two pre college children and is concerned about how badly the education system has suffered over recent years, not just for her children but others as well.
