Today, Monday June 23rd, Victory Day was celebrated in Pärnu with a parade organized by the Estonian Defence League. As ERR reported, “the Turkish Air Force organized an air show over Pärnu Bay in the afternoon. The Victory Day celebration began with the flag-raising ceremony at 8 a.m. at Independence Square, followed by the laying of wreaths at the War of Independence Memorial and the lighting of the Victory Flame at the Alevi Cemetery at 9 a.m.” The day's events also included a speech from President Alar Karis, which you can watch through the link below:
