Opening Gala

This evening concert will pay homage to “Estonia, the cradle of my heart” with a unique West Coast Canadian flair featuring musicians from across Estonia and North America. Enjoy a glass of bubbly, and a few hors d'oeuvres as you mingle amongst the VIP's at a special reception before the concert. After the concert, be sure to stay around and meet your favourite performers.

Folk Picnic BBQ

Not just your average folk picnic! Be a part of history as we gather the largest contingent of Estonians a top of Whistler Mountain for a catered BBQ with entertainment and festivities at the famous Whistler Roundhouse Lodge, nearly 1850 metres above Whistler Village.Transportation to and from the Picnic via the Whistler Gondola is included with your event ticket.

Ecumenical worship service with concert

Join us for a musical celebration as we reflect on the past of our homeland, giving thanks to God for the spiritual strength he has provided. Directed by Thomas Kirves, the concert will feature choirs, soloists and musicians from near and far. Pastors from Estonian churches across Canada, the United States and Estonia will lead the congregation in scripture readings, prayers and a short sermon.

Academic Luncheon

A networking lunch for members of Estonian academic organizations Join us at 12:00 – 2:00pm on Saturday, August 8th in the Mt. Currie Ballroom for a buffet luncheon as you catch up with your fraternity brothers and sorority sisters. Be sure to wear your colours. Keynote speaker: Merike Kaeo
