Estonian Music Week and VEMU are inviting you to a good old-fashioned block party!

To make it extra special, hailing from Tallinn will be Maris Pihlap – a singer, producer and DJ exploring Estonian pop through a subtle amapiano lens. Located in the St. Anne’s Church parking lot off Gladstone Avenue, this hidden oasis will be packed with live music, food trucks, art installations, and local indie market vendors.

Maris Pihlap is a singer, producer, and DJ whose path into music began with folk music as a violinist, but has since evolved into into electronic production, songwriting, and DJ culture.

Her recent work explores Estonian pop through a subtle amapiano lens, reflected in an EP featuring artists like Reket, villemdrillem, Jüri Pootsmann, and EiK — one of the first local releases influenced by the genre. Earlier solo albums, released under TIKS rekords, received nominations at the Estonian Music Awards and helped shape her voice as a producer and artist.

Alongside her own projects, Maris works behind the scenes as a producer, backing vocalist, and collaborator for other artists.
