1. Estonian community support and social opportunities
Recent studies show that there are many advantages to retirement home living such as reduced isolation and loneliness, increased peer connections, and improved physical and mental well-being. Aging in a cultural home can provide additional sense of security, connectedness and cultural familiarity.
2. Ready access to healthcare
No need to go out for basic care needs, Ehatare has 24/7 professional services and physicians on-site and on-cal. We provide medication management, emergency call response, and access to vaccines, x-ray, and lab services in-house. Community based resources are available and arranged as needed.
Aging in place promotes a sense of security and independence. Resident Evi Kilu encourages seniors to come before they have to, “I should have come to Ehatare earlier as then I could have joined in more activities. I really like it here and staff are so very good at looking after the residents’ needs.”
3. Newly renovated rooms are ready
Ehatare’s newest renovated rooms by Anova Group and Taurus Contracting provide an easy transition to retirement living. Each rental suite was carefully designed with modern and accessible features such as custom kitchenettes, walk-in shower, heated bathroom floors, and in-suite air quality system. Our custom rooms range in design and size, with a competitive price.
4. Carefree living
No more housework, no more cooking, no more dishes, no more worrying about snow shoveling! Ehatare brings services to you such as exercise classes, NBCU on-site banking, Tuck Shop, library, pharmacy services, and entertainment. Residents invite friends and family to join them for a home cooked Estonian meal.
[Activities] include trips to theatre and shopping malls, billiard games, garden club, and walking paths. Party rooms are available for reservation. Local and international Estonian performers, lecturers and pastors visit regularly.
