VIDEO/PHOTOS – Forum of Canadian foreign policy and defence in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia at Tartu College

Tartu College and The Central and Eastern European Council in Canada hosted a forum on Canadian foreign policy and defence in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia which was organized by Marcus Kolga on behalf of the CEEC. Among the speakers were Denis Tsarev of the Canadians for Russian Democracy; Markus Hess, President of the Estonian Central Council in Canada; Paul Grod, President of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress; and Canada's Minister of National Defence, The Honourable Jason Kenney.

Minister Kenney announced that a re-elected Conservative government would provide $10 million to support a Digital Freedom Fund to combat the Kremlin's propaganda war in Ukraine, The Baltics and even here in Canada. A Financial Task Force will also be established to track dirty money moving out of Russia from accounts directly and indirectly controlled by those Russian and Ukrainian individuals and organizations who are affected by current and future Canadian sanctions.
