Gallery: EMW’s Saturday Night at St. Anne’s Parish Hall

On Saturday, May 24th, 2025, an expansive evening of soundscapes and genre spanning music unfolded in Toronto, presented by Estonian Music Week in partnership with Wavelength. The night featured the collaborative performance of Tuulikki Bartosik and Sander Mölder, who blended Scandinavian and Baltic atmosphere (as well as a piece of Ethiopian music) on the accordion, kannel, synthesizers, and other electronic elements, set against a visual installation that transported the audience to places of Bartosik's life and travels. Caracol, who also played the first set of the night, had songs with strong pop hooks, bilingual lyricism, trigger pad layering, and reggae beats.

After a pause to eat, drink, and chat, the show carried on with Mart Avi, known for his mysterious, avant-pop style and dramatic, active stage presence. The night concluded with a raw and impactful performance by One Hundred Moons, a Toronto-based quartet that blends ethereal shoegaze with the gritty edge of '90s alt-rock.
