Gallery: Vox Clamantis at Trinity-St. Paul’s United Church

Vox Clamantis, a Grammy-winning vocal ensemble, brought Gregorian chant and contemporary compositions to Estonian Music Week's final event. The performance featured a special program that highlighted works by Arvo Pärt in celebration of his 90th birthday, alongside anniversaries for Lembit Avesson (100) and Veljo Tormis (95). Vox Clamantis, formed in 1996, is composed of singers, composers, instrumentalists, and conductors, all united by their shared interest in Gregorian chant. The program itself showcased works by Arvo Pärt, Veljo Tormis, Lembit Avesson, Helena Tulve, and a premiere for local Estonian composer Riho Esko Maimets and was a wonderful conclusion to a packed festival program.
