Järvi Academy is an integral part of the Pärnu Music Festival. Musical education of young talented Estonians is very close to the hearts of the Järvi family and is very important to Estonian culture.

Järvi Academy consists of several parts: a conducting course and courses for string, brass and percussionists. During the week, young musicians receive instruction from top performers in their field: soloists of Järvi Academy, Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, and foreign professors.

It surveyed 3,650 festival guests, 276 of them from abroad. Tallinn Music Week was the most popular and Pärnu Music Festival placed second. About 15% of the festival's guests are from abroad.

The Pärnu Music Festival is one of the most valued classical music festivals in Estonia, which is growing into one of the most important orchestral festivals in Europe. In 2022, Mainor Entrepreneurship school conducted a survey of Estonian festivals. It surveyed 3,650 festival guests, 276 of them from abroad. Tallinn Music Week was the most popular and Pärnu Music Festival placed second. About 15% of the festival's guests are from abroad.

The 14th Pärnu Music festival begins on July 9th with pre-concerts in Tallinn and the Arvo Pärt Centre, where the Järvi Academy Sinfonietta and the ambitious conductors from the conducting course of the Järvi Academy meet in front of an audience for the first time. This will be followed by concerts in Pärnu from July 10th to 19th. Several of Estonia's top musicians will perform as soloists: Hans Christian Aavik (violin), Maarika Järvi (flute) and Tähe-Lee Liiv (piano). Highlighting Estonian composers and musicians has been the goal of the festival from the very beginning, and this summer the focus is on Arvo Pärt, Maria Kõrvits, Tõnu Kõrvits and Helena Tulve.

Pärnu Music Festival has received a very positive response from the international press for several years. And the Estonian Festival Orchestra, which is the core of the Pärnu Music Festival, has already proven itself on the world's top stages (Berlin Philharmonic, Elbphilharmonie, Royal Albert Hall, Tokyo Suntori Hall, etc.). However, it is also a great responsibility to maintain this level of achievement.
