The Department of Canadian Heritage invites Canadians from across the country to contribute to the building of Canada's capital by sponsoring commemorations of Canadian ideas, people and events that are of symbolic importance. Tribute to Liberty, a not-for-profit organization, is sponsoring a project to build a monument titled the Memorial to the Victims of Communism – Canada, a Land of Refuge.
As part of the design competition process for the Memorial, the five finalist teams were provided guidelines on various design elements to assist them in developing their proposals. The guidelines can be found here. The following brief survey seeks your input on how well the teams have addressed the specific challenges of this design competition.
Participation in this survey is voluntary. The anonymity of respondents will be respected and all responses will be kept confidential. To this end, please avoid directly identifying yourself or your organization in your answers. All information collected will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act of Canada.
