Bringing together 323 parliamentarians from across the OSCE region, including Estonia, Europe, Asia, and North America, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA) provides a forum for parliamentary dialogue, leads election observation missions, and strengthens international co-operation to uphold commitments on political, security, economic, environmental, and human rights issues.

Evaleen Jaager Roy, Honorary Consul for Estonia in Vancouver, and myself, as Honorary Vice-Consul, met the Estonian Parliamentarian delegates—Mati Raidma, Chairman of the delegation, and Heljo Pikhof—to learn more about the organization and the goals of the conference. The delegates were accompanied by Susanna Veevo, advisor to the Foreign Relations Department of the Chancellery of the Riigikogu.
