The Mayor of Bradford West Gwillimbury, Doug White came by and presented a plaque to Piret in recognition of the service to the community. Even the honourable Member of Parliament for York-Simcoe Peter Van Loan, came by with a plaque and expressed his best wishes for the next 25 years. On last Sunday afternoon September 21st, up in Schomberg, Ontario. Piret Kreem King celebrated her 25th Anniversary of running Splashy's Swim and Fitness Centre. The celebration included cake and champagne, pizza and ice cream. Many of her former students and clients came by to help celebrate.
