Sculpture of renowned Estonian author Jaan Kross in Tallinn’s Old Town

On February 19 the sculpture of renowned Estonian author Jaan Kross was opened in Tallinn’s Old Town. Kros had been nominated for the Nobel Prize twice for his literary achievements, many of which were set in Estonian history but presented in an insightful, captivating manner. He was until his passing a few years ago, the icon of modern Estonian literature.
