The Estonian Central Council in Canada and The Central and Eastern European Council are helping to lead an initiative to name a Toronto street in honour of assassinated Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov. On Wednesday, April 10, EKN and CEEC Pesident, Marcus Kolga joined Russian opposition leader, Vladimir Kara-Murza, Former Canadian Justice Minister, Peter MacKay, Raoul Wallenberg Centre Executive Director, Brandon Silver, and Russian community leader, Alla Kadys for meetings with Toronto City councilors James Pasternak and Luke Robertson and Matt Buckman in Mayor John Tory's office.
