PHOTOS – Swatch Beach Volleyball FIVB world tour FINALS in Toronto

Starting on September 13, Toronto is hosting the Finals of the Swatch Beach Volleyball professional tour. Polson Pier, on the shores of Lake Ontario, provides the setting. Top prize is $100,000 USD. The field includes all the top beach volleyball players in the world, including both the men's and women's Olympic gold medalists, who were interviewed for the media at the opening event. Canada's Jamie Broder and Toronto's own Kristina Väljas are one of two local women's team. The other team was decided in the afternoon in an unusual playoff, with former Olympic partners Pavan and Bansley playing against each other with new partners! The afternoon's ultimate winners were Bansley and Wilkerson.
