Tartu Eller Girls’ Choir in Vancouver

On Monday, July 15th, the Eller Girls' Choir gave their full solo performance and sang in the lovely Kerrsidale Presbyterian Church.

The program opened to an large audience of Estonians and the general public, with a welcome by the Estonian Honorary Consul of B.C., Evaleen Jääger Roy, Vancouver Estonian Society President Ingrid Soide, and Lilian Olljum, the main organizer who helped to arrange all the home stays for the choir and their drivers.

Their performance was nothing short of perfection, helping to put Estonia on the map for the Canadians who attended.

Director Külli Lokko, together with the beautiful voices of the choir, enchanted the audience through a journey of choral music of Estonia that touched the soul. Their performance was nothing short of perfection, helping to put Estonia on the map for the Canadians who attended. A standing ovation for all three concerts, the magic of Eller Girls' voices was heard and felt.
