On December 9th, the 2024 EERO TalTech scholarship was awarded in the assembly hall of the university. The amount of the scholarship is 2,000 euros and are awarded to engineering students who are Estonian citizens, have good grades, are active within their community and face economic challenges.

This year's EERO Canada fellow is Kaarel Vahur Vingisaar, from Viljandi. He studies engineering, construction and architecture and has an average grade of 4.55. We were especially impressed with Kaarel's diverse interests and that he is not afraid to compete in competitions (in history, art and architecture) where he has placed first on several occasions. He has also participated in several Erasmus projects. In addition, we also took into account that Kaarel’s family has six children and all are engaged in musical activities. He sets a good example for other students and we are happy to support him. We wish Kaarel Vahur Vingisaar good luck and success!

EERO Canada has granted a scholarship to a TalTech Engineering student for over thirty-five years. Please watch the video below, which gives an overview of our activities in 2024. We would like to extend our thanks to you for your support, and we wish everyone a healthy and happy holiday.
