Artworks by young (under 40) female Estonian artists are being sold yearly at the world’s top art fairs and to top art museums like the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Who are these artists and how did this happen?

Since re-independence (1991), Estonia has produced a handful of talented young female artists who have gone on to international fame: Kris Lemsalu, Edith Karlson, Flo Kasearu, Katja Novitskova, Merike Estna, and Sigrid Viir.

What they all have in common is that they are represented by the CEO of the Estonian art gallery Temnikova & Kasela, Olga Temnikova.
