The successful candidate will have both strong technical lending/banking knowledge and effective relationship building skills. A “business builder” and “natural promoter”, the candidate will proactively contact members and help us raise our profile in the local community and significantly grow our business.
Essential requirements:
- A minimum of 3-5 years lending experience at a financial institution as a loans officer or equivalent
- A related degree/ diploma or other relevant post-secondary training
- A solid understanding of retail loans and mortgages
- A proven track record of providing excellent customer service and meeting sales targets
- An entrepreneurial mindset with sound judgement
- An ability to effectively manage multiple and competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills with a team orientation
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Computer competence on required applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Assets:
- Credit union experience
- The ability to speak some Estonian is an asset but is not essential
