Kevin Rex, the former Canadian ambassador to the Baltic states, resident in Riga, was honoured recently at a public meeting organized by the Latvian National Federation in Canada. Rex was also the guest speaker, and presented a very resolute position for the preservation of democracy and independence for the three countries. His remarks resonated positively with the multi-national audience which had filled the Latvian Cultural Centre’s main hall.
