It’s probably enjoyed the longest continuity for any Estonian business venture under the same family ownership in Canada.
BrokerLink Insurance, known as Canada’s largest insurance brokerage, will assume ownership of Heinsoo Insurance. BrokerLink is Intact Insurance’s broker distribution division.
Asked about this development, Thomas Heinsoo, owner/CEO of Heinsoo Insurance and also Honorary Vice-Consul of Estonia, said that everything pertaining to the location, operation and contact information for insurance clients and Estonians requiring consular assistance will remain the same.
“Both the insurance and consular activities will continue unchanged,” he stated. Compliance with the current real estate lease establishes the current address for another four years.
Heinsoo said that more information will be available as the new ownership is phased in over the next few months.
