The Board wishes to thank Past President Kairi Taul Hemingway for her commitment and service to EKN over the past 4 ½ years, including leading the transition to its new governance model. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Kairi has represented EKN at numerous Stand with Ukraine events, expressing unwavering support of Estonian Canadians for Ukraine in her speeches. Kairi also served as President of Baltic Federation, and treasurer and secretary of EKN.

The Board thanks Ingrid Soide, (Vancouver) for her many years of service on the board, and as Chair of the Medals of Merit committee.

The Board thanks Urve Tamberg, (Toronto) for her contributions and years on the board, and as member of the governance committee and delegate to the Estonian World Congress.

EKN expresses its appreciation for Marcus Kolga’s years of service to the Council and his internationally recognized commitment to defending democracy and freedom of expression.
