Recipe
- five potatoes
- one package of ground beef
- one can of mushroom soup
- one cup of milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- one cup of cheese, grated
Method of preparation
- Peel and slice the five potatoes.
- Brown the ground beef on the stovetop and drain any excess grease.
- Grate one cup of cheese and keep that aside for later.
- In a separate bowl, combine one can of mushroom soup, one cup of milk, as well as salt and pepper to taste. Mix these ingredients thoroughly.
- Grease the inside of a crock pot with butter. Begin layering the ingredients by placing the sliced potatoes evenly on the bottom. Next, add the browned ground beef. Pour the mixed mushroom sauce over the meat and potatoes. Top the entire mixture with the grated cheese.
- Finally, cook the dish on the crock pot’s high setting for three to four hours, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
