Oma sissejuhatavas kõnes mainis Eesti suursaadik Kanadas Gert Auväärt, et Balti- ja Põhjamaad on kuulsad oma suviste helgete öödega: ,,We invite you to let our films illuminate the darkness of a late autumn evening.“ Ta lisas, et ,,this year's programme brings together seven short films representing all eight Baltic and Nordic countries, with Finland and Lithuania featured through a joint co-production, reflecting the increasingly collaborative nature of modern filmmaking. Across 99 minutes, audiences will enjoy a diverse mix of drama, comedy, and animation, as well as a folk horror film included in honour of Halloween week. Together, these films showcase the creativity, imagination, and unique storytelling traditions of the Baltic-Nordic region.“
