The play ‘Klarissa kirjad’ will be presented on November 24, at 2.00 and 7.30 pm, at Estonian House. The play, written and directed by Tiit Palu (above) is based on the real life correspondence between Estonian army officer Elmar Pajo, imprisoned in Siberia and his exiled wife Klarissa a war refugee in the West. Fate and luck enabled them to be reunited. Letters, documents, diaries, memories give the play its authenticity and poignancy. It’s a deeply moving theatre experience.
