Touched recently played Montreal where it had its Canadian Premiere at the Festival de cinéma de la ville de Québec (FCVQ) and at Palais Montcalm – Salle d’Youville, and theatrically opened in Cineplex Forum (Montreal), and with French subtitles at Cinéma du Parc (Montreal) and Cinéma Le Clap (Quebec City).
Touched is distributed by Maison 4:3 in Canada. It is written, produced and directed by Karl R. Hearne. The film stars Hugh Thompson and Lola Flanery, and it is produced with the financial participation of Telefilm Canada, the Film and Television Tax Credit (Gestion SODEC), the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec.
About Karl Raudsepp-Hearne
Director Karl Raudsepp-Hearne studied at McGill University and earned a graduate degree from the University of Nanjing, China. His short films have premiered at TIFF (Song), SXSW (Monday Night) and MoMA – New Directors/New Films (Stuff). Touched is his first feature.
