I have looked at more of the Scandic / Nordic design trends and they seem to overtake in many ways. The light color palette, wood tones and texture, natural materials such as linens, wreaths, wood, and we see more touch of black and deeper tones. Earthy tones such as the deep greens, deeper browns and terracotta add the warmth any interior. So, you can go bold with the Christmas table setting this year with natural linen tablecloth combination with bolder accessories in black, wood, dark greens that can be used in form of fresh fir branches or deep green eucalyptus wreaths. I see gold still in, but more in accent form and can be very well suitable for the festive cutlery set.
